With the Linksys AC1200 MAX Wi-Fi Range Extender (RE6500), you can easily extend the range of your existing wireless router. Simply position the RE6500 in your home where you need connectivity or experience a weak signal—say, an upstairs bedroom or office or another remote area of your home such as an outdoor patio or deck.

Setting up the RE6500 is a breeze. Simply press the Push Button Connect function on the range extender to automatically sync it with your router. Then plug in the range extender near the area you’re experiencing a weak Wi-Fi signal. A green light will signify optimal placement, while an amber light will denote incorrect placement.
