Acer Aspire M3970 Desktop on Windows 7 Pro with 1TB Drive using 8GB Memory

Here I have a used good condition Acer Aspire M3970 Desktop computer at a special price.

• Computer hardware and software was upgraded plus overall refurbished to be fully operational. Added a used – like new condition coolmax 400w power supply. Replaced the original memory with more to increase speed. Also provided you a better windows experience for business.

Originally the desktop came with windows 7 home. I was able to install windows 7 pro 64 bit on it to give you a newer version of the operating system. Licensed and activated for you already so you do not have to later.

• Considering the wear on older hard drive. I decided it was best to install a new western digital black 1tb drive running at 7200 rpm to go with the new windows 7 professional installation. The connection type of the new hard drive is sata which is the fastest method and compatible for the wd black drives.

• Original memory of 4gb worked fine. However I wanted to upgrade that to 8GB though for more speed. Using the 4 slots available on the motherboard. Each are using 2GB Kingston modules per slot for a total of 8gb which is considered a dual configuration. Memory speed is 1333 mhz known also as PC3-10600 and the motherboard supports up to 16gb max if you wish to upgrade with more later.

• The Intel Core i3-2100 found in this Acer is a dual-core running 2 processors in the same chip with a base clock speed of 3.1 GHz. It has Hyper-Threading Technology. Thermal compound was applied during refurbish to provide cooling.

Some cool features on this desktop is the available hdmi connection for those of you who have a high definition monitor or wish to connect it to your smart tv. Also offers a in the case wireless adapter for wifi connectivity if you wish to move desktop around. Lastly one pci express slot too if you want to install a sound or graphics card to the motherboard.

• The original cdrom offers multi functional reading like burning cd or dvd to playing them.
• There is a card reader in the front of the case for those of you using sd memory chips.
• Offers a total of 10 usb ports in the front and on the back combined.

There is room for additional upgrades for memory and drive if you wish to expand the hardware further.
