Choosing the xbox one model was a homework and even more so when preparing for the review, should i go with the s model for casual gaming I asked myself; or should I choose the x series for better graphics came to mind as well. I wanted to meet in the middle by going with the xbox one s at this time considering it performs like the x model yet in a lighter version.

Xbox One regardless of the model you pick is a powerful gaming console, each model will handle most games in lookalike 4k resolution; however where we see the difference more obvious is the design overall and also the color options besides what we get in the inside of course.

Considering that I was working on a budget at the time and that I wanted a gaming console that was mostly for the living room, I personally did not needed to spend much at this time like I did with my custom gaming desktop or my g7 dell laptop sense I do play action 3d like games which require more; the xbox one s console was perfect in budget and also in specification.

In addition to the all white with black look, the xbox one s bundle I got made it more interesting to go with the S instead of the X; it included a game I liked and also it left me with ore money in my budget to get addition controllers and rechargeable batteries and I was still within the price point of the x model so for me it was a no brainer there.

The xbox one s model when I was doing the unboxing felt premium, in fact it smelled awesome too; and the matching white controller made it much more exciting to have gotten the s model.

Deciding between the xbox on x was for me too much hardware for the living room, where as the s model was the perfect price point for guests and family use; of course as a gamer myself I later had to get me the xbox one x for my office where I keep all my other expensive gaming gear.
